The True History of Starleigh Entertainment

Starleigh Enterprises talent agency was founded in 1971 by Marc Loundas and Michael Moran. The agency represented much of Baltimore's top live entertainment over the past 30+ years. The original staff consisting of Pat Teabo, Royce Schmidt (now CFO) with agents E. Judith Lewis, and Austin Quinn, were later joined by Greg Therres (Dr. Feelgood), Buddy Novak (Better Half), and Bill Bateman (Club Venus owner). Loundas became the sole proprietor in 1974.

In 1997, Greg Therres purchased the agency and renamed it Starleigh Entertainment. Therres takes pride in the fact that Starleigh has launched the careers of Shor Patrol (Arista Records), the Ravyns (RDM/MCA Records), Hollins Ferry (Port City Records), Jeff Pescetto (Rashada/Quincy Jones), Great Train Robbery (GTR Records), SR-71 (RCA Records), and Mike Ruocco (EMI Records), and has provided a wealth of opportunity for countless other artists and entertainers.
